Different parts of the body are inter-related. Hence something that affects one part of the body can badly interfere with the normal functioning of another part of the body. Hence adequate attention is necessary to have a healthy body condition throughout.
Nails can indicate the unhealthy condition of some other body part. A healthy nail must be strong, without color and smooth. If there are yellowish nails or brittleness on the nails or have ridges or white spots on the nails, all these can show an unhealthy nail. But these can be indication of problems in some other part of the body. It can be the sign of a bacterial or fungal infection in the body or an abnormal oxygen level in the body is indicated. Unhealthy nails can be due to kidney problems or liver diseases. A malnutrition or deficiency of vitamins can be shown as nail problems.
Nails are the tell-tale signs of the persona – did you know that! However, considering the nature of our work and the components of our diet, we may not be ‘feeding’ our nails with the right nutrients. You don’t have to spend exorbitant amounts for manicures or synthetic nail remedies, though you could give yourself a good manicure once in a while.
Look at the natural remedies all around! In the vegetable and fruit kingdom you will find peels and rinds so very useful in the endeavor. All you need to do is look! Simple things work; you don’t have to shell out hundreds of dollars to benefit from good, strong nails. Dry and brittle nails, or yellowed nails, need to be soaked in warm olive oil every day for 10 to 20 minutes. Toe nails should be clipped straight. Finger nails should be shortened by filing with an emery board. File only in one direction.
